The house was very clean. Bathrooms and kitchen perfect, bedrooms clean, living areas and yard. The host response time was exceptional. I understand check-in and check-out times are based primarily on cleaning and for the level of cleanliness in the house and property it shows that is a priority for Anchor Point. This house is in a perfect location with easy access to the beach, restaurants, shopping and parks. Lots of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was large and well- appointed. We really appreciated the beach wagon, folding chairs, umbrella and sand toys provided for our use. The hosts were friendly and responsive to all questions and requests. Definitely a 5-star stay!

What a beautiful house with plenty of room for us and our grown children and their families! We enjoyed everything about the place: the spacious, well-stocked kitchen, the restful patio and grassy backyard, the front porch with room enough for several people to sit and relax, the side porch where we left our shoes, the comfortable bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, and so many things thoughtfully provided: sand chairs, beach towels, beach umbrellas, regular umbrella, fans, extra blankets, etc. All of us loved having this house for our vacation.

We were very pleased with the home. It was very spacious and had pretty much everything we needed. The "trundle bed" is not a trundle bed by definition of having a mattress that pulls out. We especially appreciated the wagon to pull the kids in, to walk down to the lake. Only downfall was no ventilation in the kitchen and simply cooking bacon caused the alarm to give a warning. We would go there again.

Family Vacation
Location is perfect!! Short walk to the beach, restaurants & shops. Loved the outside shower to rinse the kids off when we got back from the beach. The house felt very spacious with 14 people in but yet cozy enough to get to sit and spend time with a loved one. The front porch rocking chairs were a big hit with the elders, allowing them to watch the grands ride their bikes. Planning on going back in a couple of years.

We had a group of 15 people staying at this house. We had plenty of space to spread out, cook and enjoy the house. The description was accurate. The only thing was there was descriptions on the pictures that didn’t match the house. With 13 spots in beds, we just used air mattresses to accommodate the rest. Mike and Emily were very helpful in providing the air mattresses and making sure they were there. The responded quickly to all our questions as well.

Super clean home with lots of space!
After renting other homes in the area the few years, this by far was the cleanest home I have stayed in. I felt comfortable enough to walk barefoot in the home, which is super rare for me. Plenty of space for our group to gather and we loved the front porch! There were plenty of supplies and household items and everything was in great condition. If I had any feedback, it would be the kitchen sink needs the faucet head fixed or replaced as it sprays when initially turned on. But super minor in comparison to all the great aspects of this house. Our group is seriously considering renting this property again next year for our annual trip!

Teacher Time!
This property was "Superior!!" The rental was clean, well stocked, roomy, cutely decorated, close to the beach and the perfect place to spend time with my teacher friends. This group vacations together each year, and has high expectations. Everyone was pleased. If you're looking for some suggestions they would be; a fire pit, hot tub, gazebo and outdoor patio lights. These additions would enhance the outdoor patio experience. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back! See you next year, South Haven!

Great beach location, family friendly and clean
This place was impreccably clean and in a great location by the beach. Three blocks to beach. Maybe 7 blocks to downtown. Kids were all able to walk without strollers. They had the house fully stocked and a nice wagon for kids too was a bonus. It was seriously clean- not the sticky floor “clean” some rentals claim. Really clean. Great hosts. Easy check in and check out. Nice neighborhood. One master bedroom downstairs and rest of bedrooms upstairs. Only one bathroom upstairs, so that’s a consideration if more than 2 families are staying. We had a great time and no complains whatsoever. We’d stay here again!!!!

Beautiful South Haven Rental.. close to beach!
My family has been coming to South Haven for over 20 years. We were so happy with this rental. Since our family has grown it was perfect for the 12 of us. The place is newly updated kitchen is large and well equipped. We loved sitting out on the front porch in the morning enjoying our coffee. We were a couple of blocks from south beach and not far from the Kid's Corner playground and downtown. We were so happy we booked it again for next year!

We had a wonderful long “girls”weekend in South Haven- 3 moms and 6 girls under the age of 3! This house was the perfect set up and surprisingly very spacious. Lots of extras for our kids like books, step stool, wagon. The location was amazing to walk to the beach. Just one point for others traveling with young kids- the rooms do have blinds but if your kids go to bed early or nap during the day I would suggest bringing travel black out shades. Would definitely stay here again!

Birthday celebration
Excellent weekend beach house getaway. Home was clean & supplied plenty of lysol wipes to protect against Covid. Very accommodating for 11 of us & room for at least 4 more people. Within walking distance to the beach. 3 min to Near by restaurants & grocery stores. Great communication from property manager. Only downfall was no overnight parking on street. Otherwise we had a great stay.

This was a great place to stay over Christmas.
We had so much fun having family under one roof. Even though it was Winter we still walked to the beach most days and into town. We ate every meal at the house and were in need of nothing. The house is stocked well. Beds were comfortable and had extra blankets if needed. The kids had plenty of room to play and the adults spent a lot of time playing games at the table after the kids were down for the night. The owner was exceptionally responsive and conscientious. It was a great stay; nothing negative to report.

"Girl's Get-Away"
The house is just lovely and was super clean! Huge kitchen and dining room for the six of us to prepare and enjoy our meals together. The bedrooms were comfy and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels. Just wish we had had nicer weather (it rained a lot) so we could have sat outside on the patio in the evenings. My Happy Place
So relaxing!! The house was big enough that everyone had their own bedroom and never felt crowded. The backyard was spacious and our family meals were enjoyed outside. Perfect house close to the beach with all the amenities
We so loved staying on this property that had all the charm and convenience of renting near the beach. The house was not only very clean but provided all the little things that makes a huge difference in your stay. For example, there was a wagon as well as beach chairs and umbrella for the guests to use. They provided plenty of linens and had a washer and dryer for us to use as well. The kitchen also had everything you could need on your stay as well as an outdoor shower and covered side patio that helped to keep the sand out of the house. I’d highly recommend this property!

The house was immaculately clean. The towels were ample and the cleaning supplies were readily available. Kitchen was well stocked as were additional amenities. I’ve stayed at several Airbnb’s and this host went above and beyond to set a standard of hospitality, cleanliness and comfort. It was easy 5-10 min walk to beach, kids korner playground, or downtown South Haven so the location can’t be beat. We wish we could have stayed longer 🙌🏽 Oh, and Mike was the most responsive host I’ve ever encountered. Even if you happen to encounter an issue he will respond within minutes if not seconds to help. This place is wonderful!
The location is perfect — 1.5 blocks to the beach and a 10 min walk to town.
The space is great — the upstairs sort of feels like Mary Poppins’ bag because it just keeps going. The kitchen is huge and well stocked. The backyard is where we spent most of our time.

What a GREAT house! Everything about it was perfect! Nice furniture and open layout. Very short walk to the beach, the playground and the pier. SO many bedrooms! And they are all very spacious! We had several kiddos with us and were very pleased with the amenities for them...pack in play, booster seat with tray, SO MANY TOYS, even a wagon for walks. Fully stocked kitchen with a huge island and an awesome grill in the backyard. We had a great time and this house (and the host) exceeded our expectations. We will be keeping this place on our list of vacation houses!

Summer Family Getaway

Terrific place to vacation
We spent another wonderful week at the Superior location. The house is easy to settle into and enjoy. We love hanging out in the kitchen where there is space to spread out and enjoy preparing meals together. We love the easy access to the backyard where there's plenty of room to play and dine. Most of all, we love the location which is close to downtown and an easy stroll to the beach. All in all, a fun famiy place to build lasting memories.

We loved staying here!
This was our third family visit to South Haven and the first time at the Superior House. We love the location - an easy walk to South Beach and its playground, the wooden playground, the sunset and town. The bedroom space upstairs and down was just perfect and more than spacious enough for the 11 of us - two grandparents and two young families with 5 children under the age of 8. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the house was immaculately clean. We enjoyed the manicured back yard and patio. The icing on the cake was the outdoor hot/cold shower that was used to clean adults and children off after a visit to the beach before we entered the house. Genius! The only thing we would like to see added to the house is a firepit and some lighting in the backyard for nighttime enjoyment. We definitely hope to visit the Superior House again and will recommend it to friends and family.

Our home away from home
2018 was another great year. We again created movie night Wednesday evening and it was a perfect night for a movie in the back yard. As always the house is very clean when we arrived. The kitchen is the hub, wonderful times cooking and eating together. This year the sunsets were spectacular. Being so near to the beach makes it easy to catch them. This year we started an evening trophy game of kick ball game. The game was tied after two innings apiece. The game was intense we had to stop for the sunset before finishing. With two outs, My daughter kicked a low fly towards me. I couldn't quite get to it,allowing the winning run to score. Next year we will be avenged!!! I can not express in words the wonderful time my adult children and grand children have each year. We are so appreciative of being able to rent your house. Thank you.

Great spot for a family vacation!
This place really was an amazing spot for our family situation and needs. We had 8 small children under the age of 6 and 8 adults and all fit perfectly with plenty of family space and a fun yard to play in as well. Of course the main benefit is the 2 block walk to Lake Michigan, kids area and just a few more blocks to get to downtown South Haven. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again given the opportunity!

AWESOME LOCATION!
This house was AMAZING! It's clean and feels like home away from home! The location was perfect, as it was a quick walk to the beach and a quick walk from downtown. It was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We plan to come back and rent again.

This property was adorable, very clean and conveniently located. I would definitely recommend!
The house is very roomie and well organized! We had the maximum number of adults stay and we didn’t have any issues with not having enough space. The house was also well equipped with kitchen utensils and bathroom necessities. Not to mention very tastefully decorated. Only inconvenience was the key pad lock takes a few try’s to open. I was very impressed with my stay and would highly recommend staying at this property.

Fall Retreat
Using this home for many years as a girl's fall reunion. Clean, comfortable, and walking distance to downtown. A place to let loose, laugh, and enjoy the other side of the lake. May we be able to continue for many more years to come, we just turned 70 this year.

Wonderful house!
We had another very enjoyable vacation in this spacious multi-family home. The house has many wonderful features. It is a great location only 1 block from the beach and 4 blocks from downtown. Our grand kids love the Kid's Corner Park which is only 3 blocks. This year we used the bike trail for the first time.

Loved our stay
This is our third summer staying at this 'Superior' location. We love the house's open floor plan, the proximity to the beach and town, and the quiet, friendly neighborhood. It is a great location close to the beach and close enough to downtown.
This is our thrid year at 125 Superior. The house has always beeen very clean. It feels like the house was prepared just for our family. The kitchen has alot of cookware and tools to cook most anything. All the rooms are a good size. Each of my children get a room with their spouses and kids. A couple of the big grandkids get their own room to share. The small grandkids share with their parents. At this point the sixteen of us all fit. We like the space and the flow of the house's interior. The back yard is very nice. Only issue is conviences from the kitchen to the back yard, but it works. The out door shower is a nice addition. However with 4 and 5 year olds you can never get all the sand off. This year we set up an out door movie in the back yard. The grandkids loved it. We also have two inflatable paddle boards (26 lbs). Because of the proximity to the beach, the older grandkids carried them easily to the beach. We always love walking into town for late night ice cream. The walk is doable with 4 and 5 year olds. We had a fabulous time!!! We are very greatful to be able to use your property to make so many wonderful memories. Thank you.

This is IT!
This review is easy to write, if ratings could go up to ten, it would be an 11! Right off the bat, we were impressed with the home itself. Decor, size, location, price, and amenities were without a doubt worth it. This year for the fourth of July, there were 13 of us, which this house EASILY slept (four couples, and five single folks). PROS: The kitchen is huge and fully stocked with dish/cookware, and great for group meals. Bedrooms AND bathrooms were plenty for 13. Outdoor yard/table/chairs were perfect. Five minute walk to South beach, AWESOME. 7-15 minute walk to South-side downtown, depending where you want to go. Long driveway, and decent street parking. The general neighborhood and location felt very safe. Only had to bring beach towels, PLENTY of hand and shower towels. Lots of coffee mugs :) CONS: Over a mile walk to North beach, which is where the good volleyball courts are (easier to drive). Refrigerator space - Would be nice to have access to a chest freezer, or another refrigerator; When you bring food for group meals, it really fills up quick. Summary: Michael and Melissa have done a great job with this house, and I would definitely choose to book again. You CANNOT beat the location for the amount of house you get. From the first step in the doorway, it feels like a vacation!

Great location
This is our third year staying with Simply South Haven and we've had a great stay each time. The house is fully equipped with everything we need. It is big enough for two families to fit comfortably and it is clean and well maintained. The outdoor shower was a great addition this year. The house is conveniently located close to the beach and playground and a short walk to town. The owners were great and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful, Clean Home 2 Blocks from the Beach!
Home is clean and perfect for multiple families or friends to stay. Location is just about two blocks from South Beach and just about 10-15 minute walk to the downtown area. The master bedroom is downstairs and then there are 5 other bedrooms upstairs. We had two families of 4 and we had plenty of space to spread out. The home was clean and updated well; the owners really thought about the little things (extra bench in the dining room to pull up for more seating, benches in kitchen, bedroom with tv and kids toys, plenty of towels, free wifi, etc.). An unexpected perk was that there is no key - that is, you do not have to go to an office between certain hours to pick up a key, worry about loosing the key, and/or making sure everyone has access to the house. The home has a keypad lock on the front door which made it VERY convenient. The owners were also so wonderful to work with; Michael was quick to respond and they even had coffee and muffin mix waiting for our arrival. I would recommend this home for smaller groups looking for a comfortable, affordable stay close to the beach!!

One of the best places to stay in South Haven
Me and some friends stayed at the house for the 2nd time this year and we would always book it again. The owner Mike is very professional, always responds quick and does everything to make you stay just perfect. The property itself is super clean, spacious and provides also everything you need. The location is very convenient, 5min walking to the beautiful South Haven beach and the Lighthouse. 10min walk to the charming downtown and marina, with great Restaurants and bars. The house fits 12 people easily and the neighborhood is very welcoming and safe. We enjoyed the porch a lot for a good morning coffee, also the spacious living area and kitchen as well as the backyard where great places to gather and hang out after a day at the beach. Thanks to Mike for the great time and we will be back again next year!

Perfect stay!
Just returned from a girls weekend at this adorable house! The location is ideal--close to town and the water. You can get everywhere by foot which is exactly what we wanted. The rooms are spacious and the house is clean. Eight of us slept comfortably and there were spare beds still. It was truly the perfect house!

Large house, lots of conveniences
Overall, our stay here was very good. No major issues at all, and well-stocked rental. Number of bedrooms was great, the bathrooms were well-maintained. The beds were nice, lots of extra bedding available. The kitchen was really nice and spacious, with all the kitchen utensils you might need (basics, pizza cutter, etc). We stayed with small children, and the house was great for them. They had 2 bins full of stuffed animals (that weren't gross), toys and children's books! This was great for them. Had toys for the beach, chairs, even a medium sized cooler for use. The backyard was nice with patio, lots of seating and a nice table set. Fencing provided decent privacy. The grill worked well; could use a cleaning (but so could mine). Front porch had nice rocking chairs for relaxing. The location is great, very close to South Beach access and Kids Corner. Next door, close proximity to a large corner lot rental, so with big groups there, can hear them when they're outdoors, from inside our house, pretty clearly. Overall, this wasn't too much of an issue, wouldn't keep me from staying again, but something to consider. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had, though overall, we just enjoyed our stay the entire time and didn't need anything because the house had most anything we needed already.

Great Weekend Get-a-way!
We rented this house for a bachlorette party weekend. We were a group of girls who are all over 30 and didn't want a crazy party weekend and South Haven and this house were the perfect place to retreat to. Although it snowed the night we got there and the morning of our first day, we loved every minute. As a person who loves a relaxed beachy feeling house, this was perfect. We loved the kitchen and spent most of our time there gathering, talking, laughing and just enjoying our time. We were able to jump on the highway and go to some wineries, we were able to come back to town and hit up a restaurant and a bar, all very close. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. I really can't complain! I already told my husband we were going back to the area and that if we had a large group that this house would be perfect. I even had a little issue getting into the house and received a call from the owners within 10 minutes, no issues at all. I highly recommend this place and can only image what it is like during the peak season!

Wonderful 3 day New Years weekend
We are 5 senior couples who have spent News Years together for over a decade. Upon arrival we found the house was very clean. Each couple had a great bedroom with comfortable bedding. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. The location is close to the beach and downtown, and there was enough room to park 5 vehicles.

Big Family Ani

Amazing stay.
Overall, the trip was wonderful. No issues with the house (besides a little trouble with opening the door which we solved). The home was very clean, and had a great "homey" feel to it. The owner was very responsive and kind. He made sure that if we had any issues to just reach out to him and he'll fix it. It was an awesome vacation, and will definitely be renting out the property again. Not to mention the location is absolutely perfect for all beach-goers.

Wonderful House
This home is in a great location, few blocks to beach in one direction and downtown in the other. They even provide a stroller and a wagon. Eight women stayed in the house for the weeked for a girls wine tasting weekend. We were all impressed on how clean the home was. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Great KItchen for all of us to gather and cook. Great location for the Southwest Michgan wine trail. We would all recomend this home for a great vacation in South Haven.

We loved our entire trip! The house is great!
Great location! We walked to the beach and town every day. The house has tons of space and everything you need for your vacation! My kids are ready to go back already. I would highly recomend this house to my friends. I recommend the farmer's market on Wednesday and Saturday in the summer. We enjoyed walking to the movies and ice cream in town too.
