This home was exceptionally appointed with high end appliances & kitchen ware. Two laundry rooms, one on each level! The kitchen was fabulous, we had everything we needed. The response time was lightening quick. Beds, linens, & pillows were high quality & comfortable. We loved our stay. Hoping to book again when the weather is a bit nicer.

From inquiry to reservation to checking and checkout, hosts were SO quick and responsive and helpful! This house was beautiful and worked perfectly for our group. We got a Christmas snow and the tree in the front yard and living room added to the holiday ambiance and cheer! The peeks at the lake from bedroom windows and the proximity to Lake Michigan and sunset were beautiful. We wish we could’ve used the beautiful outdoor pitches and firepit, but we will have to come back in the summer for that! Wonderful rental and experience. Thank you! We will be back.

The place was beautiful and exactly as described. It is in a great location that is a two-minute walk to the beach and a five-minute walk to downtown, but in a quiet neighborhood. The house was super comfortable, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It also has a nice front porch and an upper front deck. It is a perfect spot for a family reunion, as we did with family members coming in from 4 states. We had fun in South Haven and also did day trips to Saugatuck and Holland. South Haven is easily drivable from O'Hare Airport for direct flights or to Grand Rapids Airport if you don't mind flying with connections. The host communicated well and was proactive. This is a great house and I would definitely rent it again.

Great Place for a 2-Day Executive Workshop
We really enjoyed our time at this property. It had everything we needed for our group of 6 (7 during the day), and plenty of space for dining. We used the basement area for presentations - the AV worked great. Hosts were very responsive. Restaurants are close; big lake can be seen clearly and is a couple blocks away looking right out the front porch. We had an incident where a neighbor was crabby during one of the largest snowstorms in 2025, but this is not the fault of the property. I think just some people are crabby!! Great time away.

This house was everything! As a Mom, every detail was thought of. There was ample storage and closet space and hooks in every bathroom. Laundry on both floors was so helpful. The bunk room was so cute and cozy for the kids. Safe and sturdy and they all had a spot for their little stuff right in their bed. The kitchen was stunning and so well stocked with all you needed. The location to the beach was perfect and such a short walk to downtown. Could not have been more perfect!!!

This was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. The owners thought of everything we could need for our stay. Lake MI was literally a block away and we had views of it from the house. One of the best parts of the property was the private patio & grilling area. We had amazing weather and spent much of our time outside on the patio.
We also loved the simplicity and beauty of the interior of the house…easy to care for and literally no clutter.

This was our second stay at Anchor's Point and we're already planning our third. The home is absolutely stunning and situated on a lovely street. Pour a cup of coffee and enjoy views of Lake MI from the upper balcony or front porch rocking chairs. So peaceful. There is ample seating and gathering space in the main floor living room and downstairs TV/game room (complete with wine fridge!). Our group enjoyed the comfy couches and cozy fireplace on the main floor as well as the well equipped kitchen. Walks to the beach and town are easy. This really is the perfect vacation house. The bathrooms in each bedroom are beautiful, clean, and a huge plus! As if the house isn't perfect enough...the hosts are an absolute delight. Emily hit the perfect balance of friendliness, responsiveness and privacy. She is a joy to meet and work with. Don't hesitate to book with Anchor Point.

Great Location!
This newly constructed home was very clean and well equipped. Beach chairs, wagon, rafts, toys, baby gate, pack and play. Well stocked kitchen and big gas grill. Perfect for extended family and small children. Close to beach, town, Catholic church, kid’s corner park, and bike trails. Mike was very responsive.

South Haven vacation
Everyone loved the house. In my husband’s words, ‘if I had a home like this in South Haven’, I don’t think I’d let anyone else stay there’. The home was spotless when we arrived. It’s beautiful and well-stocked from the kitchen to the garage. We grilled a few nights and enjoyed the patio, including the fire pit, grille and patio set. The home was tastefully done and spacious. Everyone having their own attached bathroom was great as well. Upstairs and downstairs laundry facilities were very convenient. Landscaping was beautiful and well-kept. We could not have asked for a better location; just a few minute walk to the beach and a short walk to the downtown area. The outdoor shower was perfect for returning from the beach.

Beautiful home in the perfect location
We had 3 generations staying under one roof and the space was perfect. The house was very clean and well maintained. We spent plenty of time having morning coffee on the front porch looking out to Lake Michigan and by the outdoor table and fire pit in the back patio at night. The NBA Jam arcade in the basement was a huge hit for the kids. The location was an incredibly short walk to South Beach, the park at Kids Corner, and downtown South Haven. The owners are very responsive. 5 stars across the board.

Amazing Family Vacation

Great for Groups
My friends and I wanted a quick weekend get together and this home was PERFECT! The rooms were perfect for Adult couples and even had space for children who might be traveling with as well. The home had just about everything you could need available. We visited in the winter for this would be even more perfect during the warmer months because it's within walking distance to the beach.

Wedding Weekend
We came to South Haven for a family wedding. It was my husband, grown children and grandchildren. The home was spectacular. Extremely clean, nice linens and towels and a wonderful layout for multiple families. Also, close to the beach and walkable to downtown. We do many VRBO stays and this one is definitely at the top of our list. You will love it!

The house was exactly as described and Mike was very responsive anytime we needed something. We felt right at home! The house was well stocked for all your needs, even more so than the description. It was laid out great for a multi-family stay with large rooms. The driveway fit 4 large cars, plus the garage was available, if needed. There were enough areas to get away from a bigger group if someone needed some quiet time. The upstairs bedrooms were quiet, which was great for small children going to sleep, the only noises you could hear on the different floors were if someone was a loud walker. Some in our group thought the beds were too firm, which was the only downside.
The house is close to the beach, you can see the water and the South Haven light house from the 2nd floor patio! There is a playground at the beach about a 4 min walk away. Walking to downtown South Haven took about 8 minutes which was perfect to take a day shopping. Overall fantastic stay, highly recommended!!

South Haven Wedding
We stayed at this beautiful property the duration of my daughter's wedding week in South Haven. Each room was equally impressive. This is a new build and is built to perfection. A short hop, skip and jump to the beach. There was a tremendous amount of space and storage. A great outdoor area with a wonderful fireplace. The property had everything we needed and more.

Outstanding Property
By far, this was THE nicest VRBO we have ever rented! To have a six BR, 6.5 bath new home, so well designed and furnished made our group of six older women very happy. Every detail has been thought of with this property - the beds are super comfy, high quality sheets and towels, the kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need for a very large gathering. We loved the back patio with the gas fire pit. The easy walk to the beach, a lovely neighborhood to walk around, easy access to great bike trails, lots of places to eat and many cute shops in South Haven, a short ride to Saugatuck--all in all, an OUTSTANDING trip staying at a beautiful home that will be a very hard rental act to follow. Perfect Location and House
This house was absolutely perfect for our full family of 12. The location is amazing - a couple of minute walk to South Beach and less than ten minutes to the main area for shopping and restaurants. House was perfect. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever. It was clean; tons of space; layout was great. The outdoor shower was very helpful; washer and dryer were great; and the back patio is very nice. All of the rooms had adjoining bathrooms. It could not have been better. Would highly recommend this house to anyone thinking about it.

Amazing!
We had an amazing time! The house was immaculate and beautifully appointed! We absolutely loved that each bedroom had its own private bath and there was a half bath on the main level too. The grandchildren were thrilled with the bunk bed bedroom! The kitchen was very spacious and we all comfortably fit around the large dining table. We really enjoyed the backyard dining area, fire pit, playing corn hole, the beautiful landscaping and were able to relax on the front and upper level porches. The beautiful beach and downtown area were very short walks. Our grandchildren loved the play structures, pirate ship water park at South Beach! The entire family of 11 - our 3 adult children and their families, and Dave and I rate this home and location an A plus! We hope to stay here again!

Possibly the best air bnb in South Haven! Each bedroom has it’s own full bathroom, which is amazing and hard to come by! You can see the lighthouse from the porch! Walk to the beach or into downtown, both are so close! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home and cleanliness was superb. Mike was very prompt in his replies to a couple questions we had. The only negative was the lot next door was being excavated for a new home. Big bulldozer right outside window. Noisy. Another house under construction catty-corner.

Winter weekend celebration
What an amazing home to help us celebrate my husbands 50th birthday! We especially loved the main floor social space where all of could relax comfortably. The beds were firm but comfortable. Each couple had their own private bathroom. We walked to downtown and to the beach. This home was clean and modern and made this winter weekend a wonderful memory we will always look back on.

The name says it all. Luxurious, lots of space to relax and talk with friends and family. Every bedroom has two wireless chargers for your electronics and the en-suite bathrooms are great. Massive closets and a walk in pantry make storing your luggage, food and things easy. A built in bbq with natural gas fire pit in the backyard is great to sit around. Lake views from the upstairs deck let you watch the storms roll in and the waves crash against the pier. A great place to stay for your large gathering.

This house is amazing in every way. It was spotless, perfect location to town and beautiful Lake Michigan, quality appliances, linens, towels, dishes etc.. We loved sitting around the gas fire pit in the backyard or enjoying the rocking chairs on the front porch. We've never stayed in a better rental home!! And South Haven is our favorite little town... can't wait to go back!!

Let me start by saying this house is BEAUTIFUL! The space was perfect - each person had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was perfect for our group of 7 and we loved the huge island. Everything was clean and tidy in the house. The short walk to the beach was incredibly convienient, as well as the short walk into downtown. Mike was great to work with, and responded quickly to any questions that we had. We would highly reccommend!

We have stayed in so many rental properties in South Haven and Grand Haven and this by far was the most beautiful ... the key is the bathrooms in each room. We never got in the car everything is few minutes walk. Mike was incredible and literally texted me back within minutes. You won’t regret staying here!!

Really nice house plus the perfect location! House highlights were the en suite rooms, the large kitchen, 2 washer/dryers, the front porch and the back patio with a grill and fire pit. The beach and the restaurant/shopping area were very short walks away. This was our first time to South Haven - the town is lovely and the people were incredibly friendly. The owner was super responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying here!!
